BWV515, Edifying thoughts of a Tobacco Smoker
So oft ich meine Tabakspfeife
Did you know that Johann Sebastian Bach liked smoking a pipe? He found a poem about smoking a pipe and composed this Aria for "Das Notenbuch der Anna Magdalena Bach" (his wife).
The English text is not the same as you will often find on the internet. The text used here is a translation by Philip Ambrose. You can find this text, and the original German text for download below.

BWV1068 Air from Orchestral Suite No.3
We suggest a flute play the right hand part while the pianist plays only the left hand although it would certainly not be hard to play both parts. For the benefit of a flutist we have provided a solo score in the standard notation. We have provided audio of how this would sound with baroque instruments used during Bach's time and also the flute solo alone which you can play along with.
This will demonstrate how it is possible and very enjoyable to make beautiful music together with the help of others who play another instrument.
