All the Audio files begin with a short pause and a number of metronome ticks.

4/4 measure: 4 ticks.
4/4 measure and upbeat: 4 ticks plus the ticks to complete the measure with the upbeat.
3/4 measure: 3 ticks.
3/4 measure and upbeat: 3 ticks plus the ticks to complete the measure with the upbeat.

The format of the exercises 1-24 differs from that in the course: in the course the exercises of each number should be repeated as often as necessary, here the exercises are in groups of four. You can repeat these groups together (and also the audio) as often as needed.

Music Vocabulary

Moderato               Moderate tempo, often about 120 bpm (Beats Per Minute).
Theme                    A kind of  "melody" that is often repeated in a music piece.
Var.                          Variation, a theme that is repeated in different ways.
Allegretto              Lively, somewhat fast.
