Edward Elgar

Salut d'Amour (Opus 12) 4-hands

Transcribed for piano four hands / quatre mains

This arrangement of Salut d’Amour consists of two parts: Primo and Secondo, so it requires two players and two sets of sheet music.

There are many tempo changes in this piece of music. Scrolling KlavarScore, however, scrolls up at a constant speed. To allow for tempo changes when playing this music from a scrolling app, the length of the relevant measures (the distance between the counting lines) is changed in Scrolling KlavarScore files.
In the Sheet files ( Letter/A4 format) and the Tablet files ( A5 format) all measures have the same length, so you can play the tempo changes your own way.

For both parts KlavarScore or the Standard Music Notation can be used. We offer both, both contain the same information and same music instructions, making it possible for the individual players to play together, using the notation they prefer. This score in the Standard Music Notation is used to make the KlavarScore transcription.

The sheet music of these pieces can be downloaded for free in four formats and audio.

Edward Elgar - Enigma Variations

Piano arrangements by the composer.

Elgar was an English composer, whose many works are included in the British and international classical concert repertoire. The Enigma Variations are among his best-known compositions, in Elgar's own words: "I have sketched a set of variations on an original theme. The variations have amused me because I have labelled them with the nicknames of my particular friends... that is to say, I have written the variations to reflect the mood of the person... and have written what I think they would have written - if they were asses enough to compose" (Source: Wikipedia).

Edwin H. Lemare

Andantino in D-flat-Major for Organ

The original Organ arrangement.
This piece uses the technique known as thumbing down; the left hand plays an accompaniment on the choir manual, while the fingers of the right hand play the tune on the solo manual, and the thumb of the right hand simultaneously plays the tune on the great manual, in parallel sixths. The player is thus playing on three manuals at once.
